Equilox ACS Hoof Support - 3 lb Set : Equilox Hoof Support Impression Material is formulated to provide long lasting and resilient sole and frog support, and aids in treating laminitis or dropped foot.

It is a two-part polymer that are mixed together for use under a pad or hospital plate. Available in Pink (Soft) & Blue (Firm) product details below.

Cure time: 6 — 8 minutes at 21 degrees Celsius

Shelf life: At least 6 months from the fill date indicated on the label — or longer if refrigerated

Equilox Hoof Support SOFT PINK (40 Durometer)

Equilox Hoof Support SOFT PINK provides resilient sole and frog support to a laminitic or dropped foot. Recommended to be used with a pad or hospital plate as it is not an adhesive. When using this product, for your safety, use gloves and eye protection.

After about 10 minutes, the polymer will set to the consistency of soft rubber the horse can then apply weight and the force will be evenly applied to the bottom of the foot without pressure points.

Shelf life of ACS pink is recommended at 6-8 months and can be extended if refrigerated. Life is shortened if exposed to temperature over 27 degrees C.

Typical application: Foot is prepared normally for shoeing. Fit pad and shoe to foot. Take extra care to clean the entire bottom of the foot to avoid trapping any dirt or foreign obstacles. Keep foot dry and clean. Using gloves and eye protection, mix equal parts (pink and white) of EHS SOFT PINK and knead in clean hands until mix is consistent in colour. Take only the amount you need and be careful not to contaminate the remaining material by mixing pink and white when removing from container. Apply to the sole and frog area, when mixed and in a pliable state, filling the area to the level of the hoof wall. Nail pad and shoe to the foot but do not set the foot down until the material has set.

EHS SOFT PINK is intended to be a temporary product. As the foot grows and changes the support material must be replaced to remain affective.

EHS SOFT PINK is nontoxic. As with every product, it should be used for only its intended purpose and applied carefully by a trained person using gloves and eye protection. While not harmful in itself, improper use or application can cause injury or a slow healing process.

Equilox Advance Cushion Support BLUE FIRM (50 Durometer)

Advance Cushion Support Blue provides resilient sole and frog support to a laminitic or dropped foot. Recommended to be used with a pad or hospital plate as it is not an adhesive. When using this product, for your safety, use gloves and eye protection.

After about 10 minutes, the polymer will set to the consistency of medium soft rubber the horse can then apply weight and the force will be evenly applied to the bottom of the foot without pressure points.

We recommend “NEW AND IMPROVED” ADVANCED CUSHION SUPPORT when the material will contact the ground, this contains more material for strength and abrasion resistance.
