Terms and Conditions for Atlantic Equine

Please read these Terms and Conditions so that you can be sure of all your rights as an atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd customer, wherever you live in the world.

i)     DESPATCH TIMES

Delivery is free for shipments of a net invoice value of £400.00 or more going to the U.K. mainland.

Delivery on all other shipments is charged at cost according to weight and destination. Goods are despatched by post or carrier depending upon weight.

We aim to hold ongoing stocks of all our products and, wherever possible, deliver on a Next Day basis to the U.K. mainland or as quickly as possible after receiving your card payment or cleared funds.

Goods despatched by carrier can normally be tracked - please contact us if you need an update on your shipment.

Scottish Highlands and Islands include the following post codes:

If for any reason there is some delay, we will contact you, and you will be entitled to a full refund for any item or items that we are unable to despatch within your required timeframe. You are also entitled to a full refund if we are unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of your order.  

ii)     RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCCESS OF PRODUCTS / APPLICATIONS


Whilst atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd offers a wide range of products in a variety of different categories, and whilst our trained staff will, if contacted by you by e-mail, telephone or fax, offer you the best advice that they are able to in respect of your enquiry, atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd cannot accept responsibility for the success or otherwise of any particular product in any particular application, and no refund will be issued should you advise us that use of a particular product purchased from atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd has not accomplished the desired effect, unless the product can be proven to be faulty.

iii)    LIABILITY FOR LOSS / DAMAGE


Neither atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd nor its servants, agents or suppliers can accept any liability for loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, however caused, arising out of the use of any products sold or in respect of any particular application.  

iv)     CLAIMS FOR BREAKAGES/DAMAGES IN TRANSIT/SHORTAGES

Carriers must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. Please provide us with confirmation of these breakages or shortages within 3 days of the delivery, either by post, fax, telephone or e-mail.

v)      CANCELLATION

You are entitled to cancel your purchase for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods or the last of the goods should you have ordered multiple items and they arrive on different days.

If you wish to cancel, please notify us via the 'Contact Us' button on our website, heading the message: 'CANCELLATION'.

It is a requirement that you then return the goods with 14 days of cancellation. Please note that the cost of returning the goods after cancellation is your responsibility.

For Refunds following cancellation, please see vi) REFUNDS below.

vi)    REFUNDS

1) ON CANCELLATION


You are entitled to a full refund of the goods, including the cost of basic delivery in the U.K., within 14 days of our receiving the goods back.

If you have handled the goods to a greater extent than is reasonable, or have used them, then we are entitled to compensation for the reduction in value up to the full contract price.

2) OTHER REFUNDS


atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd will provide a full refund if goods delivered are different to those ordered, and are not required, or if the carrier fails to deliver the goods due to their own failings or loss of the shipment, or if goods have been damaged in transit (see iv), or see i) above.

Faulty goods may be returned for a full refund up to 30 days after the date of purchase.

If incorrect, damaged or faulty goods are delivered, we will ask for them to be returned, at our expense, prior to the refund being issued.  

All refunds will be processed as soon as possible, and at the latest within 14 days of the agreement to refund.

Please note that refunds are made by the same method of payment that you used to pay us.

vii)     EXCHANGE


We will accept goods returned for exchange for a different size/colour etc. provided that the product is returned in as new condition. Shipping costs for the return to us and re-shipment to you will be at your expense.

The new size / colour etc. will not be shipped until the original  has been received back by us, unless a second payment is made. This will be refunded if/when the original goods are received by us.

viii)     DUTY

If goods are being purchased outside the EU, any duty and other taxes payable on the goods are the responsibility of you the customer.

ix)     PRIVACY POLICY

We guarantee that we do not pass on any information given to us by our customers to other organisations. We are required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 to follow tight security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information provided to us by our customers.

The personal details that you do supply are for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order efficiently and to allow us to offer you an enjoyable service that matches your needs. Your name and e-mail address will be added to our E-mail list if you place an order with us or contact us with an enquiry, or complete the form on the E-Newsletter Registration section of our website. This list will be used from time to time to advise you of Special Offers, New Products, events etc. You are free to unsubscribe from this list at any time, either by contacting us, or by following the link at the bottom of any E-Newsletter e-mail.

x)     SECURE ON-LINE TRANSACTIONS


All atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd online credit card transactions take place in a safe 'firewalled' environment using the latest security technology, provided by secure payment provider Sagepay. We do not store any credit card or personal details on line.

Sagepay is a leading U.K. independent Payment Service Provider for  processing credit and debit card payments. All sensitive payment card information is encrypted using the most sophisticated e-payment software available and is sent to the bank for instant authorisation.

xi)     RISK AND TITLE

In the event of any goods being supplied by atlantic-equine.co.uk / Atlantic Equine Ltd on credit or prior to full payment having been made, the following terms will apply:

Goods supplied by atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd shall be at the Purchaser's risk immediately on delivery to the Purchaser or into custody on the Purchaser's behalf (whichever is the sooner), and should therefore be insured accordingly. Title in the goods supplied will only pass to the Purchaser when the goods which are subject to contract have been paid in full. When payment has become due and has not been received in full by atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd, atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd shall have the right at its absolute and sole discretion to treat the contract as discharged, to enter upon any premises of the Purchaser, and to re-possess and remove goods wholly or partly unpaid for.

In the event of the Purchaser becoming insolvent or of a Liquidator or Receiver being appointed to administer the Purchaser's affairs prior to payment in full to atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd, atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd shall have the right at its absolute and sole discretion to forthwith treat the contract as discharged, to enter upon any premises of the Purchaser, and to re-possess and remove goods wholly or partly unpaid for.

xii)      COMPLAINTS

Should you have any complaints about our service or products, please communicate them to us via the 'Contact us' form or write to us at:

These terms and conditions do not affect U.K. consumers' statutory rights.
