The Spirit represents a dramatic innovation in horse hoof rasps with a completely new design of the teeth on the finishing side.

Made by Vallorbe Swiss, who have more than one hundred years' experience in the manufacture  of files and rasps, the Spirit is the latest development in their horse rasp range.

The Spirit holds its sharpness for longer than other rasps, does not clog and leaves a very smooth finish.

The standard Spirit is 45 mm wide x 350 mm long, while the Spirit XL is the same length but 58 mm wide. Although an expensive rasp, it will wear well and it is the ideal rasp for the heavy horse or big hoof.
