Terms and Conditions



Please read these Terms and Conditions so that you can be sure of all your rights as an atlantic-equine.co.uk customer, wherever you live in the world.

i)     DESPATCH TIMES

Goods are despatched as quickly as possible, and within 3 working days of receiving cleared funds. If you are paying by cheque, please allow time for your cheque to arrive by post, and for your bank to clear your cheque. If for any reason we are unable to despatch your order within this period, we will notify you by e-mail., and you will be entitled to a full refund of any item or items that we are unable to despatch. Please note that refunds are made by the same method of payment that you used to pay us: credit card payments will be reimbursed to your account; payments by cheque, postal order or money order will be refunded by cheque.

ii)     RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCCESS OF PRODUCTS / APPLICATIONS

Whilst atlantic-equine.co.uk offers a wide range of products in a variety of different categories, and whilst our trained staff will, if contacted by you by e-mail, telephone or fax, offer you the best advice that they are able to in respect of your enquiry, atlantic-equine.co.uk cannot accept responsibility for the success or otherwise of any particular product in any particular application, and no credit will be issued should you advise us that use of a particular product purchased from atlantic-equine.co.uk has not accomplished the desired effect, unless the product can be proven to be faulty.

iii)    LIABILITY FOR LOSS / DAMAGE

Neither atlantic-equine.co.uk nor its servants, agents or suppliers can accept any liability for loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, however caused, arising out of the use of any products sold or in respect of any particular application.

iv)     CLAIMS FOR BREAKAGES/DAMAGES IN TRANSIT/SHORTAGES

Carriers must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. Please provide us with confirmation of these breakages or shortages within 5 days of the delivery, either by post, fax or e-mail.

v)    REFUNDS

atlantic-equine.co.uk will provide a full refund if goods delivered are different to those ordered, and are not required, or if the carrier fails to deliver the goods due to their own failings or loss of the shipment, or if goods have been damaged in transit, or see (i) above.
If incorrect or damaged goods are delivered, we will ask for them to be returned, at our expense, prior to the refund being issued.
All refunds will be provided as soon as possible, and at the latest within 30 days of the agreement to refund. Refunds will not be issued for goods that have been used prior to their return.

vi)     RETURNS

We will accept returns and give full refunds where the product has not been opened or damaged. Shipping costs in this case will normally be at your expense, and we can only credit you on safe receipt of the goods into our hands.

vii)     DUTY

If goods are being purchased outside the EU, any duty payable on the goods is the responsibility of the customer.

viii)     PRIVACY POLICY

We guarantee that we do not pass on any information given to us by our customers to other organisations. We are required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 to follow tight security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information provided to us by our customers.
The personal details that you do supply are for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order efficiently and to allow us to offer you an enjoyable service that matches your needs.
Your name and e-mail address will be added to our E-Mail list if you place an order with us or contact us with an enquiry, or complete the form on the E-Newsletter Registration  section of our website. This list will be used from time to time to advise you of Special Offers, New Products, events etc. You are free to unsubscribe from this list at any time, either by contacting us, or by following the link at the bottom of any E-Newsletter e-mail.

ix)     SECURE ON-LINE TRANSACTIONS

All atlantic-equine.co.uk online credit card transactions take place in a safe 'firewalled' environment using the latest security technology, provided by secure payment provider Secure Trading. We do not store any credit card or personal details on line.

SecureTrading is the UK's leading independent Payment Service Provider for  processing credit and debit card payments. All sensitive payment card information is encrypted using the most sophisticated e-payment software available and is sent to the bank for instant authorisation via the SecureTrading network of payment gateways.

x)      CREDIT ACCOUNTS

 Credit accounts will be opened for trade customers subject to the provision of satisfactory bank and trade references. Credit accounts, when opened, are strictly net, and must be settled within the period stated on the invoice. atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 1.5% per month or part month for which the account is overdue.
xi)     On any account not paid within the normal terms of trading, atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd also reserves the right to add to the account any costs incurred by the company in instructing a Credit Collection Agency or Solicitors to act on its behalf in the recovery of the account.

xii)     RISK AND TITLE

Goods supplied by atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd shall be at the Purchaser's risk immediately on delivery to the Purchaser or into custody on the Purchaser's behalf (whichever is the sooner), and should therefore be insured accordingly.
xiii)    Title in the goods supplied will only pass to the Purchaser when the goods which are subject to contract have been paid in full. When payment has become due and has not been received in full by atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd, atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd shall have the right at its absolute and sole discretion to treat the contract as discharged, to enter upon any premises of the Purchaser, and to re-possess and remove goods wholly or partly unpaid for.
xiv)  In the event of the Purchaser becoming insolvent or of a Liquidator or Receiver being appointed to administer the Purchaser's affairs prior to payment in full to atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltd, atlantic-equine.co.uk/Atlantic Equine Ltdshall have the right at its absolute and sole discretion to forthwith treat the contract as discharged, to enter upon any premises of the Purchaser, and to re-possess and remove goods wholly or partly unpaid for.

xv)     COPYRIGHT

All website design, text, graphics and the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software Copyright 2009 atlantic-equine.co.uk, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Permission is granted to copy electronically and to print in hard copy sections of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with atlantic-equine.co.uk or using this website as a shopping vehicle. Any other use of materials on the web site, including reproduction for purposes other than the above-noted, modification, distribution or replication, without prior written consent of atlantic-equine.co.uk is strictly prohibited.

xvi)    U.K. LAW

All purchases made on this site are governed by UK law.

xvii)    STATUTORY RIGHTS

These terms and conditions do not affect UK consumers' statutory rights.

xviii)  ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

Errors and omissions excepted.
