SOUNDHORSE GLUE-ON SHOE DEMO IN YORKSHIRE

SoundHorse ran an excellent glue-on shoe demo in Yorkshire 20 May at Steve Hewitt's Thickpenny Forge.

Attended by a select group of seven farriers and three apprentices, the day was organised by Robert Di Luzio, General Manager of SoundHorse Europe, in conjunction with Yorkshire Farriers, with Tony Lindsell of Atlantic Equine, UK distributor for SoundHorse, also present.

Farrier Craig McNeil, a regular user of the SoundHorse product, did the live demo, using a blackborad to illustrate the key steps in the application of the SoundHorse Series 1 shoes, and the best way to wrap the foot whilst the adhesive is curing, prior to actually glueing a pair of shoes onto a horse.

Subsequently, everyone present then had the opportunity to see how simple  the SoundHorse 'no-nails' system is for themselves, by glueing a shoe to a clay foot.

The next SoundHorse demo is scheduled to be in Usk on 10 July.
