Different accessories are required for each of the Equilox Horse Hoof Adhesive systems.

Applications of Equilox or Hoof Life, or indeed of Vettec or other two-part polyurethane products, should be made on a clean, grease-free and dry  hoof. The IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) spray  bottle is an ideal and effective means of  degreasing the hoof without wastage. After application, the Isopropyl Alcohol will quickly evaporate, leaving an oil-free dry hoof.
